次世代アグリイノベーション研究センター
岩手大学ビジョン2030に揚げられた「持続可能な社会の実現と予測不能なVUCA時代を切り拓く」ため、全学部体制で、持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の達成に貢献できる気候変動に適応する持続的な農業技術の開発や、温室効果ガス排出削減や生物多様性の維持を目指した岩手大学独自の技術開発を推進する。
そのため、(1) 生物生産部門、(2) 食と生活部門、(3) 生態環境部門の３部門を置き、画像解析や深層学習などを専門とするデータサイエンスグループの参画により先端的な農業DX技術開発を実現する。
Agri-Innovation Center, Iwate University
The Agri-Innovation Center was established in April 2018 in order to “realize a sustainable society and pioneer this unpredictable VUCA era,” the Center will promote Iwate University’s unique technological innovations that develop sustainable agricultural technologies to adapt to climate change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and maintain biodiversity to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under three divisions: the Biological Production Division, the Food and Health Division, and the Eco-Environment Division.
